Common questions
Is the security check really free?
Yes. Every visitor gets one free check with a grade and a plain-English summary. Enter your email and we'll send the step-by-step fixes for free too.
Is it safe to check my domain? Will it affect my website or email?
It's completely hands-off. We only read public information that email providers and web browsers already see, and we visit your home page once, like any visitor would. Nothing is changed, tested or attacked.
What does my grade mean?
Your grade from A to F combines nine checks across your email, website and domain name. Email impersonation protection counts the most, because fake emails are how most scams against small businesses start.
I'm not technical. Can I fix these problems myself?
Usually, yes. Your report includes step-by-step instructions for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, GoDaddy, Cloudflare and more, with settings you can copy and paste. If you'd rather not, NextPoint Technology can fix them for you.
What is SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
They're three settings that prove an email really came from your business. SPF lists who may send email as you, DKIM adds a digital signature, and DMARC tells Gmail and Outlook to block fakes. Without them, scammers can send email that looks like it's from you.
